Notice is hereby given in compliance with Georgia Code 22-2-109 and 32-3-5 that the Georgia Department of Transportation has approved the Location and Design of this project.
The date of location and design approval is: April 22, 2026
The proposed project consists of drainage improvements to the existing system in Sumter County within the intersection of SR 377 & CS 789/Church Street and is in Land District 27. The project has a total project length of 0.3 miles.
The typical section for the project will remain unchanged from the current typical section. Existing SR 377 consists of two 12-foot travel lanes (one in each direction), a 14-foot two-way left turn lane with curb and gutter urban shoulders with a sidewalk. The existing CS 789/Church Street consists of two travel lanes (one in each direction) with curb and gutter urban shoulders with a sidewalk.
