Invitation for Bid and Contract (IFB) to
Provide Food Service Management Company Services
Notice is hereby given that Hazel Crest School District 152.5, Cook County, Illinois, (“the School Food Authority-SFA”); is requesting bids to provide Food Service Management Company Services for the operation in the Federally funded School Nutrition Programs.

Bids will be accepted at or before 1:00 p.m. on May 18, 2026, at which time they will be opened and read aloud. Bids must be submitted in full as outlined in the solicitation.
A meeting to tour the facilities will be held at 1:00 p.m. on April 20, 2026, starting at Barack Obama Learning Academy, 16448 Park Avenue, Markham, IL 60428. Attendance at this meeting is required.
Beginning April 7, 2026, IFB specifications will be available. Contact Dr. Cynthia Levy at clevy@sd1525.org for information on how to access the specifications.
Questions related to the solicitation may be submitted, in writing, via email to clevy@sd1525.org by April 22, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. Questions will be answered via email in the form of an addendum to all potential bidders..
Bidders. must be fully aware and comply with USDA and state regulations regarding School Nutrition Programs.
The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, waive any irregularities or informalities.
All vendors must comply with applicable Illinois law requiring payment of prevailing wage by contractors working on public funded projects, and with Illinois statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity Laws.
