Invitation to Bid The Kankakee River Metropolitan Agency (KRMA), at 1600 West Brookmont Blvd., Kankakee, IL 60901, is accepting sealed bids for the furnishing and supply of all Chemical Supply, Domestic Services (Shop Towels, Floor Mats / Runners & Uniforms), Groundskeeping and Housekeeping on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. Bids will be accepted until 4:00 pm on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at the facility. Bids will be publicly opened, read aloud, and recorded at 9:00 am on Thursday, March 19, 2025. Bid packages may be picked up and returned between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday at the KRMA facility. If you would like a recording, please contact the KRMA office. Completed bid packages must be addressed to “KRMA” and clearly marked: Sealed Bid for: “Chemical Supply”, “Sludge Removal”, “Domestic Services”, “Housekeeping”, or “Groundskeeping”. Bids may be hand delivered or sent via the U.S. Postal Service and must be placed inside a sealed express envelope. All completed bids will be time stamped and dated once in the KRMA office. KRMA will not be responsible for bids lost in the mail. Bids for chemical supply are as follows: (1) Sodium Hydroxide (2) Sodium Hypochlorite (3) Sulfur Dioxide (Ton Cylinders) (4) Chlorine (Ton Cylinders) (5) Struvite Scale Treatment (6) Polymer Bidders can, and may bid on any individual chemical service, or all if desired. Bidders will also be required to comply with all laws governing the safe transportation and delivery of all such equipment, services, and chemicals, including insurance requirements and prevailing wage laws where applicable.
