No. 2025PR51 NOTICE OF ADMISSION OF WILL TO PROBATE AND APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT EXECUTOR To: Roy D. Bartels, Jr., Jeremiah J. Bartels and Unknown Heirs/Legatees of ROY D. BARTELS, SR., Notice is hereby given of the death of ROY D. BARTELS, SR., and that Letters of Office were issued January 23, 2026, to Katherine Mae Bartels as Independent Executor whose attorneys are Brandon E. Peck, Peck Ritchey LLC, 321 S. Plymouth Ct. 6th Fl. Chicago, IL 60604. Notice is further given to the heirs and legatees whose names and addresses are listed on the attached Notice of Mailing that the estate will be administered without court supervision, unless under 28-4 of the Probate Act of 1975 |755 ILCS 5/28-4(1992 State Bar Edition)]. Any heir or interested person may terminate independent administration at any time by electronically filing, with a copy to the attorney of record, a Petition to Terminate with the Circuit Clerk of Shelby County, Shelby County Courthouse, 301 E.
