Letters of Office were issued on April 20, 2026 to Susan Sands, of 3220 Harness Lane, Grayslake, IL 60030 and Amy Ceisel, of 1123 Madison St., Evanston, IL 60202, whose attorneys are Richtman & Richtman, P.C., 986 Main St., Antioch, IL 60002. Claims against the estate may be filed in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, Civil Division, McHenry County Government Center, 2200 North Seminary Avenue, Woodstock, IL 60098, or with the representative, or both, on or before November 2, 2026, which date is not less than six (6) months from the date of the first publication of this Notice, and any claim not filed within that period is barred. Copies of a claim filed with the Clerk must be mailed or delivered to the representative and to the attorney within 10 days after it is filed. Notice is also given to UNKNOWN HEIRS in the above proceeding to probate a will and whose name or address is not stated in the petition to admit the will to probate, that an Order was entered by the Court on April 20, 2026 admitting the Will to probate. Within 42 days after the effective date of the Order of admission, you may file a petition with the court to require proof of the will by testimony of the witnesses to the will in open court or other evidence as provided in §6-21 of the Probate Act of 1975 (Ill. Comp. Stat. ch. 755, par. 5/6-21). You also have the right under §8-1 of the Probate Act of 1975 (Ill. Comp. Stat. ch. 755, par. 5/8-1) to contest the validity of the will by filing a petition with the court within six (6) months after admission of the will to probate.
