The Lake County Zoning Board of Appeals has sched-
uled a public hearing at 9:30 AM on Thursday, May 14,
2026, at the Lake County Central Permit Facility, 500
W. Winchester Rd., Libertyville, Illinois on the petition
of Ranger Inc, record owner, who seeks the following
variations from the requirements of the Lake County
Code and any other zoning relief as required:
1.) Reduce the front street setback from 30 feet to 3
feet, to allow for the construction of a detached
garage.
2.) Reduce the front street setback from 30 feet to 1.93
feet to alleviate the nonconforming status of the exist-
ing single-family dwelling.
