NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING VILLAGE OF SOUTH ELGIN, IL PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 18th day of March 2026, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as this matter may be heard, at the South Elgin Public Safety Center, 50 S. Water Street, South Elgin, Illinois, the petitioner, the Village of South Elgin, shall appear before the South Elgin Planning and Zoning Commission for a public hearing to consider a petition requesting approval of a Text Amendment to the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO), of the Village Code of Ordinances, Chapter 156, Section 156.07.C.18 Outdoor Dining to amend outdoor dining regulations. Additional information concerning the public hearing is available by contacting the Village of South Elgin Community Development Department at 847-741-3894; by emailing PZCPublicComment@southelgin.com; or by visiting the Community Development Department office at 10 N. Water Street, South Elgin, Illinois, 60177, during normal business hours. All persons in attendance at the public hearing shall have an opportunity to be heard. Any person who also wishes to appear as an interested party with the right to cross-examine others at the hearing must complete and file an appearance form.
