Notice to Bidders - Oak Street Pump Station Improvements Pursuant to Iowa Code 26A, Crossland Heavy Contractors (CHC), acting as Construction Manager at Risk for Council Bluffs Water Works' Oak Street Pump Station Improvements Project, is soliciting Requests for Statements of Qualifications (RFQ) from interested and qualified subcontractors.
The Project consists of renovations and improvements to the existing Oak Street pump station, with exterior demolition, site concrete, grading, utilities, boring under active roadway, striping, process piping, pump removal and replacement, high-performance coatings, finish painting, masonry joint repair & tuckpointing, and pavement marking all included in the project scope.
CHC will be accepting RFQs via email at precon@heavycontractors.com until Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 2:00pm. The necessary RFQ documents can be obtained from the virtual bid platform CivCast by searching for the ‘Oak Street Pump Station Improvements' project under the ‘Browse Bids' section. To be considered for the work, all interested parties must complete the RFQ documents by the deadline. Any submissions after 2:00 pm on May 14, 2026 will be considered late and rejected.
Council Bluffs Water Works and CHC will review all complete Statements of Qualifications received by the stated deadline and will determine, in accordance with the criteria set forth in the Request for Qualifications documents, those respondents deemed qualified to perform the Work. All respondents will be notified of their qualification status.
