NOTICE OF WEED ABATEMENT DEADLINE
SUTHERLIN CITY RESIDENTS & LANDOWNERS:Please note that grass and weeds in excess of 12 inches in height, blackberry bushes, and other vegetation defined as noxious growths that constitute a health, traffic, or fire hazard, violate the provisions of Sutherlin Municipal Code 8.12.030 and is subject to enforcement action.
Nuisances in connection with noxious growths on private property still in violation after June 1, 2026, are subject to abatement by the City. Costs associated with abatement including a $25 administrative fee per parcel, will be charged to the owner or person in control of the land, and may be placed as a lien against the property.
