May 5, 2026The Winnebago County Board of Supervisors met in session at 9:00 A.M. May 5, 2026 adjourned from April 28, 2026. Present: Supervisors Jensvold, Durby, and Smith. On a motion by Durby and seconded by Smith the Supervisors moved to approve the minutes for the April 28, 2026 Board Meeting and approve the Agenda for May 5, 2026.  All voted aye.  Motion carried. Kris Oswald, Drainage Clerk discussed drainage matters. On a motion by Jensvold and seconded by Durby the Supervisors moved to appoint Jacobson-Westergard as Engineer to survey DD 35 Lat 12 Waterway for possible repairs needed. All voted aye. Motion carried. Oswald discussed a letter from Faribault County, MN regarding invoices they are wanting payments on from 2002 to 2019 in joint drainage districts. Oswald will speak to IDDA and other counties to see what their policies are and what our district may be responsible for. The Supervisors, acting as Trustees, would like a contract between the 2 counties for any future repairs. Ethan Schutter, Maintenance Superintendent discussed Secondary Road matters including spot loads, edge ruts, and pulling in shoulders on blacktops.  On 70th north of A16 Supervisor Jensvold discussed animal holes in the ditch.  Discs will be going around soon pulling in shoulders. On a motion by Smith and seconded by Durby the Supervisors moved to approve the following Resolution.  All voted aye.  Motion carried.
