Public NoticeLA PORTE CITY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTThe residents of La Porte City are hereby notified that on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, the Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing at 5:00 p.m.The public hearing is to review and render a decision on a request by Union Community School District for a variance from the requirement in Chapter 167.01(4)A. that parking spaces be not less than 20 feet in length. The School District would like to reduce the length to 18 feet.Residents are further notified that they may attend the hearing to ask questions and voice their comments.
