Call to Order The Decatur County Board of Supervisors met in regular session on Monday, May 4, 2026 at 8:00 a.m.in the Board Room of the Decatur County Courthouse. Present:Supervisors Doug Tharp and Ward Graham, as well as County Auditor Stephanie Daughton. Absent:Supervisor Steve Fulkerson. Unless otherwise noted, all motions carried unanimously. 2. Pledge of Allegiance 3. Approve Agenda Motion Graham/Tharp to approve. Motion carried. 4. Approve Minutes of April 27, 2026 Regular Session Motion Graham/Tharp to approve. Motion carried. 5. Public Comments – 3 minute limit per individual None. 6. 8:15 a.m. – County Engineer Justin Savage At 8:15 a.m., Conservation Director Kayla Clausen and Leon Community Playground Committee member Kathy Smith met with the Board and County Engineer Justin Savage to inquire about options to slow traffic at the lake playground entrance on Little River Lake Road. Following discussion, Smith and Clausen will look into speed feedback signs and will also talk to the Leon City Council. No utility permits today, and Savage provided departmental updates. 7. 8:30 a.m. - Public Hearing on FY26 County Budget Amendment #2 At 8:30 a.m., Chairman Tharp opened the public hearing for the purpose of allowing the public an opportunity to be heard regarding the FY26 County Budget Amendment #2.
