NOTICE TO RURAL RESIDENTS
 OF LINN COUNTY
On 5/10/2026 and thereafter, Linn County Integrated Roadside Vegetation Management (IRVM), will conduct roadside spot herbicide treatments for noxious weeds and brush (weather permitting).
Such treatments may contain the herbicide Milestone. Milestone herbicide's label contains restrictions for haying. Before haying in the County right-of-way, consult the herbicide label and contact the Linn County Roadside Department for more information.
All county employees that are spraying are trained and certified for strict conformance with the State of Iowa's requirements and the manufacturer's recommendations. Anyone who is interested in Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for product information can contact Megan Huck at (319)423-5695 between 7:00am-3:00pm. 
Residents wishing the County to not spray will be furnished “NO SPRAY” signs with the application for a “No Spray” permit. The No Spray permit can be obtained at the Linn County Engineer's Off
