CITY OF SIOUX CENTER NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING RE:ADOPTION OF PROPOSED AMENDMENT NO. 5 TO MULTIRESIDENTIAL URP NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SIOUX CENTER, IOWA, ON THE MATTER OF THE ADOPTION OF A PROPOSED AMENDMENT NO. 5 TO THE SIOUX CENTER MULTIRESIDENTIAL URBAN REVITALIZATION PLAN Public notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Sioux Center, Iowa, will hold a public hearing on June 23, 2026, at 12:00 P.M., in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 335 1st Avenue NW, Sioux Center, Iowa, at which meeting the Council proposes to take action on the adoption of an Amendment No. 5 (“Amendment”) to the Sioux Center Multiresidential Urban Revitalization Plan (“Plan”) for the Sioux Center Multiresidential Urban Revitalization Area (“Area”) described therein, under the authority of Iowa Code Chapter 404, as amended. The purpose of the Amendment is to designate additional land as part of the Revitalization Area. The Revitalization Area, as amended by the Amendment, is described as:The East 345 feet of the South 1050 feet of the SE1/4 SE1/4 in Section 9, Township 95 North, Range 45 West of the 5th P.M., in the Incorporated City of Sioux Center, Iowa, subject to public highways. And Lot 1, except the West 140 feet thereof, and Lot 2, Block 5 of Industrial Park C to the City of Sioux Center, Iowa. And Lot 55 and that part of Lot 56, College Addition, in the Incorporated City of Sioux Center, Iowa, designated Parcel A as shown by Plat of Survey recorded in Book 2021 Page 2546. The proposed Amendment is on file in the office of the City Clerk and available for public inspection or copying during ordinary business hours.
