TO ALL COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND PARTIES IN INTEREST WHO ARE ENTITLED TO NOTICE OF THE WEST LIBERTY CITY COUNCIL'S INTENT TO ENTER INTO A LEASE AGREEMENT WIWTH THE CITY OF WAPELLO FOR THE USE OF AN AMBULANCE FOR THE WEST LIBERTY AMBULANCE DEPARTMENT

You are hereby notified that the City Council of West Liberty, Iowa, intends to enter into a lease agreement with the City of Wapello for the use of an ambulance for the West Liberty Ambulance Department. The lease agreement is set for $1.00, plus all the fuel, routine maintenance, and repair of any damage occurring during the lease period (ordinary wear and tear expected.) The City of West Liberty shall be responsible for routine maintenance and shall return it to Wapello at the end of the lease period in a substantially similar condition as it was lease. The City of West Liberty shall be responsible for any loss or damage to the ambulance during the lease term, except for ordinary wear and tear. Any repairs exceeding $1,000.00 shall require prior approval from the City of Wapello, unless emergency repairs are necessary to protect public safety.
