Please take notice that:
1) Karen J. Markley, of 99 Willow Street, Harcourt, IA 50544, has a tax lien of $27,166.28 against real property (Parcel #1813202002) situated in Webster County, Iowa, described as: The vacated railroad right-of-way located North of Lot One (1) of Outlot Seven (7) and vacated Willow Street, and the South 50 feet of the vacated railroad right-of-way located North of Lots Two (2) and Three (3) of Outlot Seven (7) in Section Thirteen (13), Township Eighty-six (86) North, Range Twenty-nine (29) West of the 5th P.M., Harcourt, Inc., Webster County, Iowa.
2) The above-mentioned tax lien results from our payment of delinquent taxes levied against the above-described property by the County of Webster for the years 1984 through 2024, and includes the amount of taxes paid at and after the tax sale held on June 20, 1988, together with interest, delinquency penalties, redemption penalties, and costs of sale.
3) Such tax lien is evidenced by Certificates #1998 and #1998B executed by the Treasurer of Webster County to me on June 20, 1988, after my purchase of the property at the tax sale mentioned above.
4) In order to redeem the property, you must pay to the Treasurer of Webster County, Iowa, at 701 Central Avenue, Fort Dodge, IA 50501, on or before ninety (90) days from the service of this notice, $27,166.28, together with interest at the rate of 24% per annum from May 12, 2026.
