PUBLIC NOTICE AVAILABILITY OF FULL-TIME AGENCY LIQUOR STORE LICENSES The Bureau of Alcoholic Beverages and Lottery Operations, Division of Liquor Licensing and Enforcement (Division) is accepting agency liquor store applications to establish or replace existing agency liquor licenses pursuant to 28-A M.R.S. §§ 453 and 453-A, in the following municipalities: Columbia, Cross Lake Township, Exeter, Lincoln, Monson, Pownal, Shapleigh, West Gardiner. All applicants for agency liquor stores must be located within the municipality where an advertised license is available and must meet the criteria set forth in 28-A M.R.S. § 453(2-C) and 18-553 C.M.R. ch. 130. Additionally, each applicant must submit a filing fee of $2,010 with the completed application in order for the evaluation of the application to begin. To receive a link to the application, please contact the Division at (207) 624-7220 or alcohol.bablo@maine.gov. Completed applications and the $2,010 filing fee must be received by the Division by 4:30 PM on Friday, May 22, 2026. Applications received after this date and time will be rejected by the Division and the filing fee will be returned.
