Presque Isle High School Bus Lane
MSAD #1 cordially invites bids for the Presque Isle High School Bus Lane Project on Griffin Street, in Presque Isle, Aroostook County, Maine. Sealed bids will be received at the Office of MSAD #1 located at 79 Blake Street, Suite #1, Presque Isle, Maine 04769 until 2:00 pm prevailing local time, Thursday, May 28th 2026, at which time they will be opened and read aloud. Bids received after this time will not be accepted.
Sealed envelopes shall be addressed:

CONSTRUCTION BID - DO NOT OPEN
The work generally consists of the following, which is not an all-inclusive list: Removal of chain link fencing and pavement, parking lot improvements including minor grading and re-paving, sidewalk construction, and installation of concrete curbing and stormwater structures and piping.
A Pre-Bid Conference is not scheduled. Bidders are welcome to view the project area outside of school hours. The Contract shall be in accordance with the provisions of all pertinent general public laws of the State of Maine in effect at the time of the execution of the Contract.
Bids must be accompanied by a satisfactory Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the Bid. The selected Contractor will be required to furnish a 100% Contract Performance and Payment Bonds and Lien Waivers to cover the execution of the work, which shall be in conformity with the Bonds and Lien Waivers contained in the Specifications and for the Contract Amount. The Owner reserves the right to waive any and all technical and legal deficiencies, to reject any and all Bids, or to accept any Bid that the Owner may deem to be in their best interest.

Bidders may obtain plans and specifications for a $70.00 pre-paid, non-refundable fee. Electronic copies are available at no cost.
No formal interpretation of the Contract Documents will be made after 9:00 AM, Tuesday, May 26, 2026.
