INVITATION TO BID ON THE
SALE OF A USED FIRE TRUCK
The Town of Prospect is accepting sealed bids for the sale of a 1990 GMC C7000
Pumper. Tanker. The Truck has a 427 gas engine with a 5 speed manual transmis-
sion and a 2 speed rear axle. Mileage is 11494 The pump is a Hale front mount 1000
gpm. The Tank is a 1550 gal poly tank. The unit is being sold in an AS-IS condition.
Sealed bids are due by June 2nd, 2026 at 4:00PM and will be publicly opened at 5:00
pm on June 3rd 2026. Bids should be clearly marked as a “Engine 3 BID” and can
be mailed to, or dropped off during normal business hours at, the following loca-
tion: Town of Prospect 958 Bangor rd Prospect, Maine 04981. The unit can also be
inspected by appointment, by calling the number listed below. The Town of Prospect
reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or
irregularities in the bidding process.
