& SEWER DISTRICT
INVITATION TO SUBMIT PROPOSALS SLUDGE HAULING SERVICES
The Southwest Harbor Water and Sewer District is requesting proposals for the
hauling of municipal sludge. RFP Packets may be obtained at the District Of-
fice, 26 Village Green Way, PO Box 1100, Southwest Harbor, ME 04679, during
regular business hours or by emailing bliscomb@swhdistrict.org, or by calling
207- 244-3948.
Each Proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing on the outside the
name of the Proposer, Proposer's address, and plainly marked, “SLUDGE HAUL-
ING PROPOSAL” to the District by 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2026. The Board
of Trustees will open and read the proposals on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 4:00 PM
during their regularly scheduled meeting at Town Hall. The District reserves the
right to accept or reject any or all proposals.
