NOTICE OF INTENT TO FILE Traffic Movement Permit Please take notice that Cornish Properties LLC Attn: Billy Anastasiadis 30 Orchard Road, Parsonsfield, ME 04047 (603) 866-4617 is intending to file a Traffic Movement Permit application with the Maine Department of Transportation pursuant to the provisions of 23 M.R.S.A. § 704 - A on or about May 8, 2026 The application is for a Development consisting of a 6,374 SF office and coffee facility, divided into three components: 1,937 SF Aroma Joe's with Drive-Through Window, 1,937 SF office space, and an additional 2,500 SF office space. The project is forecast to generate 570 weekday trip ends, 142 AM Peak Hour of Generator trips, and 61 PM Peak Hour of Generator trips. at the following location: The proposed development is to be located off Route 25 (Maple St) in Cornish, ME. The site is bounded by Fairgrounds Pizza and Pub to the west, Licensed To Grill to the east, Route 25 & Walgreens to the north, Residential Homes & The Cornish Fairgrounds to the south. The overall site is shown on Cornish's Tax Map #U-01 Lot #20A . The site is proposed to include a singular full movement access along Route 25 and a cross connection access to the adjacent Fairgrounds restaurant. Any interested party may request in writing to participate in the MaineDOT scoping meeting for the subject project no later than 20 days after the application is found by the Department to be complete and is accepted for processing. Requests shall be sent to the State Traffic Engineer, 16 State House Station, Augusta, ME 04333. Public comments on the application pertaining to either congestion or safety will be accepted throughout the processing of the application. The application will be filed for public inspection at the Department of Transportation Region office (Pleasant Hill Road - Scarborough) during normal working hours.
