NOTICE JOINT AGENCY AND PUBLIC MEETING Western Maine Energy Storage, LLC Western Maine Energy Storage Project (FERC No. 15410) Western Maine Energy Storage, LLC (WMES) will host a Joint Agency and Public Meeting (JAM) on Thursday, June 4, 2026, to discuss the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) licensing of the Western Maine Energy Storage Project (Project). The Project is proposed to be located between Canton and Dixfield, in Oxford County, Maine, near but not on the Androscoggin River. The purpose of this meeting is to: 1) provide information about the Project and licensing process; 2) solicit information regarding the existing environmental resources associated with the Project and data that may need to be obtained; and 3) obtain agency and stakeholder opinions regarding the Project and its potential effect on existing resources. The meeting will be held in-person, as well as virtually, from 10am to 12pm via Microsoft Teams and at the Ludden Memorial Library located at 42 Main Street, Dixfield, Maine 04224. This meeting is open to the public but is primarily focused on issues identification with state and federal agencies. A site visit to the proposed Project location will be planned for a later date. The proposed meeting agenda is: 1. Introduction to the Project Licensing Team Members 2. Project Description 3. Overview of Licensing Process/Agency & Stakeholder Coordination 4. Pre-Application Document (PAD) 5. Discussion of Identified Concerns/Planned Study Criteria 6. Comments and Questions Please note that the PAD is available on FERC e-library (https://elibrary.ferc.gov/eLibrary/#) under Docket Number P-15410. WMES would appreciate comments on the PAD and study requests within 60 days after JAM (August 3, 2026).
