REFERENDUM ELECTION RSU 68 REFERENDUM ELECTION
Tuesday, June 9, 2026
A Regional School Unit No. 68 (RSU 68) referendum election will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 in the Towns of Charleston, Dover-Foxcroft, Monson and Sebec. Voting will be done by secret ballot and the following question will be on the ballot:

Budget for the 2026-2027 school year
that was adopted at the district budget
meeting on May 26, 2026 be approved?
Absentee ballots are available Monday, May 11th through Thursday, June 4th until closing hours at your local town office for those who might not be available to vote at the secret ballot election. Please see below for town office hours, polling locations and where to call for more information regarding absentee ballots and voter registration applications:

A prospective voter may register on Election Day, June 9, 2026, at the polls. Please bring photo ID and proof of address with you. Per Title 21-A, Sec 122-6, all prospective voters must apply in person during the 21 days before an election. Therefore, after May 19, 2026, no registrations to vote at the June 9, 2026 election will be processed through the mail or through a third party.
