Notice of Intent to File Please take notice that on behalf of the Town of Naples, agent, Sebago Technics, Inc. 293 Portland Road, Suite 3, Bridgton, ME 04009, c/o Bill Gerrish, P.E., (207) 482-6340, intends to submit a Stormwater Law Permit Application with the Maine Department of Environmental Protection pursuant to the provisions of 38 M.R.S.A. §§ 420-D on or about May 13th, 2026. The applicant is proposing to construct a new 18,500 square foot recreational building with associated parking area. Site development will take place on the westerly side of Casco Road (Rte. 11) on a developed property in the Town of Naples. More specifically, the site is located approximately 0.1-mile north of Route 302. The total approximate impervious area for the proposed development is ±2.1 acres, and the project consists of the proposed building, access drive, parking, utilities and other associated site and landscaping improvements. A request for a public hearing or a request that the Board of Environmental Protection assume jurisdiction over this application must be received by the Department in writing, no later than 20 days after the application is found by the Department to be complete and is accepted for processing. A public hearing may or may not be held at the discretion of the Commissioner or Board of Environmental Protection. Public comment on the application will be accepted throughout the processing of the application. The application will be filed for public inspection at the MDEP's office in Portland during normal working hours. A copy of the application may also be seen at the municipal offices in Naples, Maine. Written public comments may be sent to the Southern Maine Regional Office in Portland at MDEP, Southern Maine Regional Office, 312 Canco Road, Portland, Maine 04103 where the application is filed for public inspection.
