According to the records at the Tax Assessor's Office for the City of Presque Isle, and at the Aroostook County Registry of Deeds, Southern Division, you are the record holder of title to property located at (4 POND STREET), Presque Isle, Maine. And, as owner of the property, you are hereby notified in accordance with Title 17 M.R.S.A. Section 2851 (Maine State Statues) that your Property has been determined by the Code Enforcement Officer after a thorough inspection and view of said Property, that the building situated thereon is structurally unsafe, unstable, unsanitary, constitutes a hazard to health and safety because of inadequate maintenance, dilapidation, obsolescence or abandonment; or it otherwise dangerous to life or property.
A hearing before the Presque Isle City Council will be held on the (JULY l, 2026) at 6:00 PM (EDST), at the City Council Chambers located on the 3rd floor of City Hall, located at 12 Second Street, Presque Isle, Maine, at which hearing you may represent yourself, or be represented by an attorney of your choice, you may produce witnesses and/or evidence at this hearing.
If, after the hearing, the City Council adjudges the building or structure to be a nuisance and/or dangerous, the Council may make and record an Order describing what disposal must be made of that building or structure; including ordering the nuisance abated in accordance with Section 2853 of said Title 17, at your expense, and the Property may be subject to a levy.
