NOTICE
PUBLIC HEARING
The Knox County Commission and the Knox County Budget Committee
will hold a Public Hearing on the 2026 Knox County Budget Proposal
on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 6:00pm. The meeting will be held in
the Commission Hearing Room, located on the ground floor of the
Courthouse at 62 Union Street in Rockland. All meeting attendees must
enter the building using the back entrance on High Street.
Copies of the Knox County proposed 2026 budget are posted on the
County's website at www.knoxcountymaine.gov and are also available
at the County Administrative Office. Copies of the budget will also be
available at the Public Hearing.
This will be the last public hearing before the County Commission
and Budget Committee vote to finalize the County's budget for 2026.
All interested persons are encouraged to attend and comment on the
budget proposal.
