LEGAL NOTICE WATERVILLE SEWERAGE DISTRICT The Waterville Sewerage District was organized by, and is controlled by the Private and Special Laws of Maine, 1949, Chapter 211, as amended. The Waterville Sewerage District is proposing rate increases starting on July 1, 2026, and July 1, 2027. The proposed rate schedule will be presented at a Public Hearing to be held on June 4, 2026, at 5:30 P.M. in the Kennebec Sanitary Treatment District cafeteria, 401 Water Street, Waterville, Maine. The proposed rate schedule starting July 1, 2026, is as follows: Sanitary: Charge $3.45 per 100 cubic feet of sanitary effluent based on water usage. Charge a minimum quarterly bill of $62.10, based on 1,800 cubic feet of usage. Charge a flat rate fee of $75.90 per quarter for unmetered users. Charge $6.90 per 100 cubic feet for roof drains. Permit and Inspection Fee (connection fee) $300 for all new connections to the public sanitary system. Storm: Charge $135.00 for all catch basins not in the public right-of-way. Charge $270.00 for all catch basins in the public right-of-way. Permit and Inspection (connection fee) $300 for all new connections to the storm drainage system for catch basins not in the public right-of-way. The proposed rate schedule starting July 1, 2027, is as follows: Sanitary: Charge $3.87 per 100 cubic feet of sanitary effluent based on water usage. Charge a minimum quarterly bill of $69.66, based on 1,800 cubic feet of usage. Charge a flat rate fee of $85.15 per quarter for unmetered users. Charge $7.74 per 100 cubic feet for roof drains. Storm: Charge $160.00 for all catch basins not in the public right-of-way. Charge $320.00 for all catch basins in the public right-of-way.
