LEGAL NOTICE
TOWN OF SCITUATE
 
Pursuant to M.G.L. c. 30B, § 16, the Town of Scituate is soliciting sealed proposals for qualified proposers to serve as caretaker and lease the caretaker's cottage at the historic Mordecai Lincoln Property, located at 62 Mordecai Lincoln Rd, Scituate, MA. The Town is seeking a below-market rental arrangement to further the public purposes of promoting the historic preservation of the Building through the provision of on-site caretaking, facilitating public access to the property on which the Building is located. The Select Board anticipates entering into a lease, and potentially a management services agreement covering the expected caretaking services described herein, with the selected proposer. The lease will be awarded, if at all, to a responsive and responsible proposer whose proposal is deemed by the Select Board to be the most advantageous to the Town, taking into consideration the value of the proposed rent and the evaluation criteria. No electronic or faxed proposals will be accepted.
