HAMILTON-WENHAM REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICTINVITATION FOR BIDSThe Project. The Hamilton-Wenham School District, a Massachusetts pub-lic school district, the Awarding Authority (also referred to as the "District"),invites sealed bids for the landscaping services at the District's AthleticComplex and various town fields, in accordance with specifications detail-ing the scope of work (the "Project").Scope of Work. The Project consists of providing comprehensive land-scaping maintenance services for the Hamilton-Wenham Regional SchoolDistrict. Work includes but is not limited to, athletic field paint lining (bothon turf and grass) regular mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, planting,fertilizing, seasonal cleanup, pruning of shrubs and trees, removal and dis-posal of debris, and related tasks necessary to maintain the aesthetic qual-ity and safety of District grounds, all as set forth in the Invitation for Bids.The selected Contractor will serve as the primary service provider and isresponsible for furnishing all necessary labor, equipment, materials, andsupervision. The Contractor shall coordinate directly with District personnelregarding scheduling and performance of the services.Applicable Law. All bids for this Project are subject to MassachusettsGeneral Laws, Chapter 30B, which governs the procurement of goods andservices by municipalities and school districts. The provisions of M.G.L.Chapter 30B are incorporated herein by reference and shall control in theevent of any conflict between these provisions and other bid documents.It is each bidder's responsibility to be thoroughly familiar with and complyfully with the requirements outlined in M.G.L. One original with original signatures and one copyof the bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope and labeled with thebidder's name and the project title: "Hamilton-Wenham Regional SchoolDistrict Athletic Complex Landscaping Services Procurement". No emailsubmissions will be accepted.Any bids received after the noted date and times will be rejected andreturned to the sender unopened. No exceptions will be made. Faxed/emailed bids will not be accepted. Bids received at the noted times will bepublicly opened and read. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the abovescheduled time for the opening of bids or authorized postponement there-of. The bidder agrees that this bid shall be good and may not be withdrawnfor a period of 30 days, Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays excluded,after the opening of bids.License and Certification. Bidders must possess and maintain any li-censes, certifications, or registrations required under Massachusetts lawto perform landscaping maintenance services. Proof of such licenses orcertifications shall be provided upon the District's request.Bid deposit.
