TOWN OF AUBURN, MASSACHUSETTS PUBLIC HEARING, Petition for joint Pole Locations
 
You are hereby notified that a public hearing will be held at 6:30 PM on May 26, 2026 in the Select Board's Meeting Room at 104 Central Street, Auburn MA, as Requested by Massachusetts Electric Company d/b/a National Grid and Verizon New England, Inc. Abutters interested in participating are welcome to do so in person or remotely using the following public access information:

This petition requests permission to locate poles, wires, and fixtures, including the necessary sustaining and protecting fixtures, along and across the following public way:
Rochdale Street- National Gid to relocate 1 JO Pole on Rochdale Street. National Grid to relocate one new 35ft class 3 pole, numbered P8 on Rochdale St. The new location of P8 will be approximately 32' southwest. This relocation is to help provide a better view and more driveway accessibility in front of the new ADJ.
 
Also, for permission to lay and maintain underground laterals, cables, and wires in the above or intersecting public ways for the purpose of making connections with such poles and buildings as each of said petitioners may desire for distributing purposes.
