Holland Planning Board Public Hearing on
Revisions to the Holland Zoning Bylaws
Pursuant to M.G.L. Ch. 40A, §5, the Holland Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 1, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Holland Town Hall, 27 Sturbridge Rd. 1st Floor Community Room Holland, MA on petitioned revisions to the Holland Zoning Bylaws.
Citizen's Petitions:
To amend the TOWN OF HOLLAND ZONING BY-LAWS, ARTICLE II, S240-2.0, DEFINITIONS AND WORD USAGE to define an Educational Institution consistent with M.G.L., Ch. 69 §30A., STANDARDS FOR EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS; or act on anything relating thereto.
To amend the TOWN OF HOLLAND ZONING BY-LAWS, ARTICLE IV, USE REGULATIONS S240.-4.0 PERMITTED USES and TABLE 1 HOLLAND SCHEDULE OF PRINCIPAL USES, To prohibit campgrounds in Town of Holland, MA, as defined by Merriam-Webster Dictionary as a place, area or land used for a camp or camping, often featuring space for yurts, tents, cabins, and/or recreational vehicles primarily used by travelers or vacationers for temporary or long-term overnight accommodations.
Permanent overnight stays are strictly prohibited.
Any person interested or wishing to be heard on this should attend the meeting at the designated date & time. Information on remote participation will be available on the agenda to be posted on the Holland website (www.town.holland.ma.us) prior to the meeting.
