NOTICE PROPERTY OWNERS

The Shell Rock River Watershed District has contracted with SOLitude Lake Management to treat shoreline areas in Fountain Lake during the month of May (appx. May 5-23, 2026) for the invasive aquatic weed, curly-leaf pondweed. An approved liquid aquatic herbicide will be applied to the permitted shoreline areas from a specialized boat. Landowners on the lake may request that control not occur along their property by contacting the Shell Rock River Watershed District at 507-377-5785.
