NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The City Council of the City of Hilltop, Minnesota will conduct a public hearing on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 4555 Jackson Street NE, Hilltop, Minnesota. The hearing will be in conjunction with a regular city council meeting. 
The public hearing will be held for the following purpose: The City of  has received the proposed layout for MnDOT's plans to create a new design for Central Ave. (Hwy 65) between University Ave. Southeast and I-694. The plans incorporate multimodal transportation needs and priorities along Central Avenue, with an emphasis on improved safety for people walking, rolling, biking, riding transit, and driving.
A public hearing is necessary before the City determines whether to provide the required municipal consent for a portion of the project. One or more representatives from MnDOT will be present at the public hearing to present the layout for the project. 
The layout is available for review at the City of Hilltop's Clerk's office at Hilltop City Hall, 4555 Jackson Street NE, Hilltop, MN.
Any person wishing to express an opinion on the project will be heard either orally or in writing at the public hearing.
