HAZELWOOD CITY COUNCIL
PUBLIC HEARING NOTICENotice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held before the Hazelwood City Council on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, during their meeting beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Hazelwood City Hall, 415 Elm Grove Lane.
The Council will consider the following petitions:
· The North St. Louis County Inter Group Office Inc. - Petition for a Special Land Use Permit for a Social Assistance Establishment at 7226 North Lindbergh Boulevard
· Jose Maunuel Avalos d/b/a The Two Lokos - Petition for a Special Land Use Permit Expansion for a Restaurant at 7023 B Howdershell Road to Increase Square Footage of the Restaurant
· West Community Credit Union, 6105 Howdershell Road – A variance to permit an increase in the allowable wall sign area from five percent (5%) to 5.52% of the building elevation where the sign is placed [Code Section 510.080(A)(2)(c)]. The proposed south-facing wall sign area is 64.36 square feet, while the maximum permitted sign area is 58.3 square feet.
· The Space, 400 Candle Light Lane - A variance to permit an increase in the allowable wall sign area from five percent (5%) to 5.95% of the building elevation where the sign is placed [Code Section 510.080(A)(2)(c)]. The proposed sign area is 36.5 square feet, while the maximum permitted sign area is 30.8 square feet.
