LEGAL NOTICE – REQUEST FOR BIDS
SECOND RIVER PURCHASING COOPERATIVE
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the School Business Administrator of the Belleville Board of Education, acting as the Lead Agency for the Second River Purchasing Cooperative (System #294SRPC), for the following public works services and supplies:
Bid No. SRPC 25/26-08: ROOFING SUPPLIES AND SERVICES, WATERPROOFING AND RELATED PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
Bids will be received, publicly opened, and read aloud by the School Business Administrator on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. prevailing time, at the Belleville Board of Education Business Office, located at 56 Ralph Street, Belleville, New Jersey 07109. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, plainly marked with the bid number, title, and vendor name. Late bids will not be accepted.
Bid specifications, instructions, and required proposal forms may be obtained upon written request to Tina Iaccheo, School Business Administrator, via email at: secondrivercoop@bellevilleschools.org.
All bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 (Affirmative Action), the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq.), and the Public Works Contractor Registration Act (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq.). A New Jersey Business Registration Certificate is required prior to the award of the contract.
Bidders must submit a bid guarantee in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, not to exceed $20,000, along with a Consent of Surety. The Lead Agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-2(s), (t), (x), (y), and N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-22, and to waive non-material informalities.
