PUBLIC NOTICE - INVITATION TO BID Volunteers of America Delaware Valley VOADV will receive sealed bids for the replacement of windows, the front porch, and the decking at Agape House, located at 122- 128 E Main St., Somerville, NJ. Sealed bids will be received at the office of VOADV, 531 Market St., Camden, NJ 08102, prior to 11:00 AM (local time) on April 17th, 2026. All work shall be completed under one contract. Bids will be opened in private at the owner's convenience. Each bid must be accompanied by a project schedule identifying the time frame required to complete the work; bid security in an amount not less than 10% of the total base bid, payable to VOADV; a non-collusion affidavit of the prime bidder; and a statement of the bidder's qualifications. VOADV encourages and promotes full participation by minority and women-owned business enterprises (MBEs and WBEs), Section 3 residents, and Section 3 businesses in all project-related contracting opportunities. All qualified firms and individuals are invited to submit bids. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days following the bid deadline without the consent of VOADV. VOADV reserves the right to waive any informalities, irregularities, defects, errors, or omissions and to reject any or all bids or any part thereof. The awarded contractor will be required to submit a schedule of values broken out by cost code division and other distinct portions of the work period. The general scope of work includes, but is not limited to, replacing 40 windows of various sizes with single-hung, multi-chambered white uPVC vinyl windows at 122-124 E Main St., Somerville, NJ, and replacing approximately 800 sq feet of decking, 200 linear feet of perimeter railing, and 100 linear feet of ADA-compliant handrailing with composite materials at 122-128 E. Main St., Somerville, NJ. Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all required permits.
