LEGAL NOTICE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR THE PROVISION OF CONSULTING ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR WORK ASSOCIATED COMMISSION-OWNED DAMS FORMAL INSPECTION NORTH JERSEY DISTRICT WATER SUPPLY COMMISSION (the "Commission") is soliciting Proposal from Professional Engineering firms that have expertise in the principles and practices of Civil Engineering as applied to the planning, design, construction, inspection, maintenance, and operation of large dams to provide the Services for Commission-owned dams. The Selected Respondent shall be a professional engineering firm, licensed in the State of New Jersey, experienced in dam-related engineering services associated with large High Hazard Class I dams, including but not limited to, inspections, hydrologic and hydraulic studies, stability analysis of dams, dam-related monitoring and instrumentation, and foundation drain operation and maintenance. The Selected Respondent shall demonstrate that they have the continuing capability to perform these services. In addition, the Selected Respondent must own and maintain a local office within 100 miles of the Commission. Sealed Request for Proposal ("RFP") responses will be received by the Commission on WEDNESDAY, MAY 27, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. at its offices at One F.A. Orechio Drive, Wanaque, NJ 07465, at which time and place responses will be opened for: COMMISSION OWNED DAMS: FORMAL INSPECTION Proposals and instructions are obtainable beginning TUESDAY, APRIL 21, 2026 through emailing Margaret Maddalena, the Commission's Contract Administrator, via email at mmaddalena@njdwsc.com. NORTH JERSEY DISTRICT WATER SUPPLY COMMISSION ("the Commission") RFP responses should be submitted via certified mail or overnight delivery, and shall indicate that a proposal is contained therein. More information concerning this RFP and the Commission's public contracting process can be found on the Commission's website at https://www.njdwsc.com. Please direct all questions regarding this RFP in writing before the question cut-off date of TUESDAY, MAY 5, 2026 to mmaddalena@njdwsc.com please ensure to identify the project name in the email title. Respondents are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. If awarded a contract your company/firm will be required to comply with requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Bidders are required to comply with all state laws and regulations concerning public contracting, including but not limited to the "New Jersey Local Public Contract Law" (N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et. seq.).
