Boonton Township PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE OF TOWNSHIP OF BOONTON PLANNING BOARD PROPOSED ADOPTION OF THE MARCH 2, 2026 HOUSING ELEMENT AND FAIR SHARE PLAN PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-13 of the Municipal Land Use Law (the MLUL), that the Township of Boonton Planning Board will conduct a public hearing at 7:30 p.m. on March 2, 2026, at the Township of Boonton, Council Chambers, 155 Powerville Road, Boonton Township, NJ, to hear public comment on the adoption of the March 2, 2026 Housing Element and Fair Share Plan. The Planning Board will provide any person wishing to comment on the Housing Element and Fair Share Plan the opportunity to do so at the hearing. After public comment, the Planning Board shall consider adoption of the Township's March 2, 2026 Housing Element and Fair Share Plan. Copies of the Township's March 2, 2026 Housing Element and Fair Share Plan shall be on file for public inspection no less than ten (10) days prior to the public hearing at the Township of Boonton Municipal Building, 155 Powerville Road, Boonton Township, NJ 07005, by contacting the Planning Board Secretary, Maureen D. Como at 973-402-4007 during normal business hours, Monday through Friday between 8 and 12 and 2 and 4. Any party interested in commenting on these documents may do so at the public hearing. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq., the Planning Board will convene its regularly scheduled public meeting on Monday, March 2, 2026, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Please note that the Chairman of the Planning Board will open the meeting to the public to participate at the appropriate time.
