PUBLIC NOTICE
R E S O L U T I O N
NO.: 2025-054
WHEREAS, the Clerk of the Authority posted a Public Notice requesting qualifications, in accordance with NJSA 19:44A-20.4 et seq., for the position of Labor Counsel, for 2026; and
WHEREAS, the Parking Authority received two (2) responses to the Request for Qualifications, specifically from Allan C. Roth, Esq., of Ruderman &Roth, LLC and Mark Tabakin, of Weiner Law Group; and
WHEREAS, after a review of qualifications, the qualifications from both Allan C. Roth, Esq., and Mark Tabakin, are found to be advantageous to the Authority,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of the Parking Authority of the Township of North Bergen, that the Chairman of the Parking Authority is hereby authorized to enter into agreements, with Allan C. Roth, Esq. of Ruderman & Roth LLC and Mark Tabakin, Esq., of Weiner Law Group, as Labor Counsel, at an hourly rate of $170.00 per hour, not to exceed $7,500, respectively, without further authorization, for the provision of legal services, pursuant to the Request for Qualifications and qualifications submitted, a copy of which are incorporated herein and made a part hereof, effective January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026, or until a successor has been appointed, subject to certification that funds are available; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a notice of this action shall be printed in the Bergen Record, as required by law.
I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION WAS DULY ADOPTED BY THE PARKING AUTHORITY OF THE TOWNSHIP OF NORTH BERGEN ON DECEMBER 17, 2025.
