Legal Notice Notice to Bidders / Request for Sealed Bids WESTFIELD COMMUNITY CENTER The Westfield Community Center is accepting sealed bid proposals for: HVAC Replacement of Two (2) Raheem RAKA-042JAZ Air Conditioning Units and duck cleaning. All contractors intending to submit a bid must complete a site visit and/or request the scope of work package and photo documentation prior to submitting a proposal. Project Location: 558 W. Broad Street Westfield, NJ 07090 "PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT FEDERAL FUNDS THROUGH TITLE 1 OF THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974 ARE BEING UTILIZED IN THIS PROJECT" ALL bidders shall conform to the intentions and provisions of Affirmative Action in Public Contracts Laws of the State of New Jersey R.S 10:2-1 of 7/23/75, Assembly Bill No. 2227. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. All bidders are required to comply with the Davis-Bacon Act and Related Acts as amended (DBRA) as listed in David Bacon Wage Determinations and must have a Public Works Certification and DUNS/Federal ID number and abide by all of the Federal Requirements. Sealed bids must be clearly marked with the project title and bidder's name and address on the outside of the envelope and include a business card. Bids must be delivered to the Westfield Community Center no later than March 20, 2026. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check and Consent of Surety, payable to the Westfield Community Center, in the amount of 10% of the total bid. A public bid opening will be held March 26, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Westfield Community Center. Scope of work package will be available on February 25, 2026.
