Ordinance 06-2026 appropriates $300,000 for firehouse expansion.

Mount Arlington Borough  COUNTY OF MORRIS, STATE OF NEW JERSEY  NOTICE OF ORDINANCE ORDINANCE 06-2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following Ordinance was introduced by the Governing Body of the Borough of Mount Arlington, in the County of Morris, State of New Jersey, at a regular meeting held on February 3, 2026: AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF MOUNT ARLINGTON, IN THE COUNTY OF MORRIS, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, APPROPRIATING $300,000.00 FROM THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR EXPANSION OF MAIN FIRE HOUSE APPARATUS BAYS The purpose of this Ordinance is to appropriate the sum of $300,000.00 from the Capital Improvement Fund for the costs associated with the expansion of the Main Firehouse Apparatus Bays, including all costs and expenses necessary therefor and incidental thereto. Of this amount, an aggregate of up to $60,000.00 is included for items of expense permitted under N.J.S.A. 40A:2-20. The Borough hereby certifies that it has adopted a capital budget or temporary capital budget, as applicable, which has been amended to conform with the provisions of this Ordinance. Said Ordinance will be further considered for final passage after a Public Hearing to be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., at the Municipal Building, Mount Arlington, New Jersey. Copies of this Ordinance are available in the office of the Borough Clerk for members of the general public who request the same.
