PUBLIC NOTICE The Cumberland County Office on Aging will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 21, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cumberland County Library, 800 E. Commerce St., Bridgeton, NJ 08302. The purpose of the public hearing is to offer elderly County residents, caregivers and the general public the opportunity to comment on the needs of the elderly. Comments regarding needs that can be addressed by advocacy activities and available service funding are of particular interest. Information gathered during the public hearing will provide data and insight to the Office on Aging on those issues most in need of advocacy and funding for the 2025-2027 Cumberland County Area Plan for senior services. The 2025-2027 Area Plan provides services funded under Title III of the Older Americans Act, Social Services Block Grant, State Safe Housing and Transportation, Adult Protective Services, Casino revenues, State funds, County funds and Municipal funds. Written comments received by May 21, 2026, will be accepted as part of the public record of this hearing. They should be addressed to Lisa Williams, Executive Director, Cumberland County Office on Aging, 800 E. Commerce Street, Bridgeton, N.J. 08302. For further information, contact the Office on Aging at (856) 453-2224. Persons who need an accommodation (e.g., sign language interpreter, assistive listening device, etc.) must notify the Cumberland County Office on Aging & Disabled Outreach Program, 800 E.
