NOTICE OF HEARING Please be advised pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-12 an application (P2025-0128) has been filed by 229 New York Avenue, LLC with the Jersey City Planning Board (“Board”) for approval for a minor subdivision, regarding the property located at 229 New York Avenue, Jersey City, New Jersey, also known on the Jersey City tax map as existing lot 7 in Block 3805 (“Property”). The purpose of the application is to subdivide the existing lot into two lots, which will be known as new lot 7.01 and new lot 7.02. Both new lots shall be fully confirming to the dimensions set forth in the Jersey City Land Development Ordinance. The structure on the Property will be demolished. The Applicant seeks any deviations, exceptions, design waivers, submission waivers, variances, interpretations, continuations of any pre-existing non-conforming conditions, modifications of prior imposed conditions and other approvals reflected on the filed plans (as same may be further amended or revised from time to time without further notice) and as may be determined to be necessary during the review and processing of the Application by the Board. Any person interested in this application will have the opportunity to address the Planning Board at the meeting on April 28, 2026, which will be held at 5:30 pm at the offices of the Boardroom at the Holloway Building, City Hall Annex, 4 Jackson Square, Jersey City, NJ 07305. The building is also known as 39 Kearney Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07305.
