DUNDEE CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID SECTION 001113 - INVITATION TO BIDDERS BID OPENING Sealed Proposals for the following project: DUNDEE CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT 2025 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT must arrive by mail or be hand delivered to the Dundee Central School District located at 55 Water Street, Dundee, NY 14837 by 11:00 am on May 13 th , 2026 . Bids can also be dropped off at or before the bid opening location directly prior to bid. The bid opening will take place at 11:00 am on May 13 th , 2026 at 55 Water Street, Dundee, NY 14837 where they will be publicly read aloud. Bids must be made in writing on the forms furnished. Bids can be mailed or hand delivered to : Dundee Central School District 55 Water Street Dundee, NY 14837 Contract # and Name and Project Name Should Be Noted on Outside of Envelope CONTRACT TYPE This bid includes five (5) Lump Sum Prime Contracts: Contract #101– General Construction Contract #102 – Mechanical Construction Contract #103 – Plumbing Construction Contract #104 – Electrical Construction Contract #105 – Site Construction PROJECT DESCRIPTION The project include UV replacement, kitchen and cafeteria reconfiguration, renovation to 2 gymnasiums; high school gym entry corridor, locker rooms, team rooms, and training room reconfiguration; auditorium and music suite renovations; technology wing reconfiguration; restroom renovations; interior door replacement throughout school; track replacement; stadium lighting; parking lot replacement; bus garage generator and various other scope associated with renovations. REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) FOR SPECIAL INSPECTIONS, AIR MONITORING AND/OR COMMISSIONING SERVICES Watchdog Building Partners is the Construction Manager for the Dundee Central School District 2025 Capital Improvements Project. They are issuing an RFP for: • Special Inspections • Air Monitoring • Commissioning Services The deadline for submitting a proposal for these services is 5/13/2026. This is the same date set for the opening of prime contractors’ bid proposals. If an addendum is issued to extend the bid opening for the prime contractors, it will NOT apply to the submission date for submitting a proposal for Special Inspections, Air Monitoring or Commissioning Services. Checks shall be made payable to Dundee Central School District. Bid documents, if requested, will be mailed to Bidders upon receipt of deposit and reimbursement for the cost of mailing. Mailing fee for one set is $35.00 for UPS delivery. Check shall be payable to Dundee Central School District. Bid documents may also be examined at the following locations: F.W. Dodge Reports Rochester Builders Exchange Web Site 180 Linden Ave., Suite 100 Rochester, N.Y. 14625 Plan Holders List will ONLY be available at the Dodge Reports, Rotolite-Elliot and Builders Exchange of Rochester. Subcontractors interested in obtaining Plan Holders List shall contact the Rotolite Elliot directly. PRE-BID MEETING Pre-bid meetings and walk through will be held on April 24 th , 2026 at 8:30 AM. at Dundee Central School, contractors to park behind the building in the gravel parking lot adjacent to the playground . All Bidders are urged to attend the Pre-Bid Meetings and Walkthroughs. In case the Bidder is unable to attend the on-site pre-bid walk through, a separately scheduled walk through can be arranged with the Construction Manager and the School. Bidders are warned that if they arrive onsite without a prescheduled appointment on any day other than the Pre-bid Meeting date and time, they will not be admitted to any of the District buildings and will be asked to leave the District property until such time that an appointment has been made. All Bidders are urged to attend the Pre-Bid Meetings and Walkthroughs. REJECTION AND ACCEPTANCE OF BIDS The OWNER hereby reserves the right to waive any informality and reject any or all bids or to accept the one that, in its judgment, will be in the best interest of the Owner . BID SECURITY A Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany the bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. NONCOLLUSIVE BIDDING CERTIFICATE A non-collusive bidding certificate shall be included on each bid. CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION Bidder must be registered with NYSDOL’s Contractor Registry. A copy of the Bidder’s Certificate of Registration shall be included with each bid. PREVAILING WAGE RATES This is a prevailing wage rate job. RETURN OF CONTRACT DOCUMENTS Any Bidder, upon returning the Bidding Documents in good condition within thirty (30) days after date set for Bid opening will be refunded his deposit.
