Notice To Bidders
The Town of Colonie ("Town") invites bids for the following:
RFQ: Fire Sprinklers Testing & Inspection KQ365
Sealed quotes will be received at the Office of Purchasing, Memorial Town Hall, Latham, NY 12110 until May 14, 2026 11:30 AM local time. At that time and place all quotes will be publicly opened and read aloud.
All quoters shall comply with the N.Y. Gen. Mun. Law §103.
Beginning on April 29, 2026, the solicitation documents for this matter will be on file and publicly exhibited at the Office of Purchasing, 534 New Loudon Road, Memorial Town Hall, Latham, NY 12110. Copies of said documents may be obtained at that address. Complete bid documents may also be available for download from the Empire State Purchasing Group's web site at http://www.bidnetdirect.com/new-york.
Submissions delivered by hand or by other means shall be enclosed in a sealed, opaque envelope. The envelope shall be marked on the outside with the project title and the submitter's legal name and address. The submission shall consist of the completed pages of this document marked “TO BE SUBMITTED" and the submitter's other pertinent documents. If the submission is sent through the mail or other physical delivery system, the sealed, opaque envelope containing the submission shall be marked with the notation "Submission Enclosed" on the face thereof AND marked on the outside with the project title and the submitter's legal name and address.
Alternatively, a submission may be submitted by email to purchasing@townofcolonie.gov. Such an emailed submission should list the project title in the subject line. Please note: the Town's limit for receiving electronic files via email is 20 megabytes. If you choose to submit electronically and your file is larger than 20 megabytes, you must use the following link to upload file: https://securefiles.colonie.org/filedrop/bidsubmissions/. Please contact The Office of Purchasing by phone at 518-783-2726 or by email at purchasing@townofcolonie.gov for the required password to submit your files using the link above.
At the execution of the anticipated contract, the Successful Bidder will be required to furnish performance and labor and materials bond, and a payment bond equal to the full amount of the bid.
The Town of Colonie reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids submitted.
