Legal Notice Request for Proposal Auditing Firm The Newburgh Housing Authority is seeking proposals from financial accounting firms to audit the financial records of the agency for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026. Proposals should be written to address the following quality/merit used by the Authority to evaluate proposals: 1. Experience of the Audit Firm. 2. Knowledge of and experience with HUD public housing, housing choice voucher program and other related regulations, policies and procedures. 3. Knowledge and experience with Financial audits of Housing Authorities of comparable size and complexity The scope of services will be identified in the Request for Proposals and may be obtained from the Newburgh Housing Authority. Proposal must be submitted to the address below and must be received no later than 4:00 PM on May 22, 2026.
