SELKIRK FIRE DISTRICT
NOTICE TO BIDDERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Selkirk Fire District ("Fire District") in the Town of Bethlehem, Albany County invites sealed bid proposals for the procurement of a new Custom Pumper fire apparatus according to Specifications and General Conditions prepared by the Fire District consistent with its procurement policy.
Bidding documents constituting a "Bid Package" containing Bid Instructions, Specifications, General Conditions and related documents may be obtained on or after April 8th, 2026, from the Fire District. A complete Bid Package in PDF form may be obtained by sending a request for same via email to the Fire District Secretary at the following address: secretary@selkirkfd.org [secretary@selkirkfd.org]
All Bids will remain subject to acceptance for forty-five (45) days after the Bid Opening. Fire District may, in its sole discretion, reject any bid.
Bids will be opened and read publicly on Friday May 22, 2026 at 1:00PM at the Fire District offices, or at such later time as may be determined by future resolution of the Selkirk Fire District Board of Fire Commissioners. Sealed bids must be received by 12:59 PM on Friday May 22, 2026 at the Fire District offices at 126 Maple Avenue Selkirk, NY 12158. Bids received after this time will not be accepted and will be returned to Bidder unopened.
The Fire District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and proposals. The financing of a contract on such bid may be subject to referendum approval.
