BID NOTICE Town of Bethlehem Composting Facility Truck Scale Sealed bids will be received by the Town of Bethlehem Town Clerk’s Office, 445 Delaware Avenue, Delmar, NY 12054 until 9:30 a.m. (local time), March 18, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read in Room 101. The work site is located at the Town of Bethlehem Composting Facility, 1244 Feura Bush Road, Selkirk, NY. The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion the work shown on the Drawings and described in these Specifications including, but not necessarily limited to, the construction of an 11’x70’ steel deck truck scale and ancillary equipment, installation of associated utilities, asphalt pavement and signs, and associated earthwork. Complete sets of the Drawings, Specifications, and Bid Forms may be obtained via Bidnet at bidnetdirect.com in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Contractors that view or obtain Contract Documents from a source other than bidnetdirect.com must register with bidnetdirect.com to be placed on the official Plan Holder List, receive Addenda, and receive other Bid correspondence. Bids received from Contractors other than those on the official Plan Holders list will not be accepted. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 9:00 a.m. on February 27, 2026, at the project site. Representatives of the Owner and Engineer will be present to discuss the project. All bids must be made on the official Bid Form or an exact copy by reproduction thereof and enclosed in a sealed envelope. This is a lump sum bid as described in the Instructions to Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent of the base bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish construction performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the contract price. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all provisions of the Federal Government Equal Employment Opportunity clauses issued by the Secretary of Labor on May 21, 1968 and published in the Federal Register (41CFR Part 60-1, 33 F.2 7804). Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive or Conditional Bids.
