The State University of New York at Binghamton will receive sealed bids for project number E071093 titled Science III Phase II Lab Furniture / Equipment until 2:30 p.m. local time on 04/22/26 at Binghamton University, Purchasing, McGuire Building where such proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. The campus contract Heath Weeks (607) 777-3793. All work on this Contract is to be completed within 100 calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed. Bidding and Contract Documents may be examined free of charge at the following locations. Builders Exchange of the Southern Tier, Inc., 15 Belden Street Binghamton, New York 13903: Syracuse Builders Exchange, 6363 Ridings Road, Syracuse, New York 13206: Eastern Contractors Association, Inc., 6 Airline Drive, Albany, New York 12205: Dodge Data & Analytics (Dodge Reports) Documents can be viewed at www.construction.com. Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be viewed and ordered at the following designated website: www.nyplanroom.com Bidding Documents may be viewed and bid packages may be purchased/downloaded from the designated website by prospective bidders. Prospective Bidders must purchase a bid set from nyplanroom.com to be considered a responsible bidder, even if Bidding Documents were viewed or obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website and registered bidders will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. Electronic copies of the Bidding Documents are available for order/download on the portal at nyplanroom.com. You must purchase an electronic bid package to be considered a responsible bidder. Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. Section 143 of the State Finance Law requires payment of a deposit to receive these documents. Accordingly, a deposit of $49.00 is required. Deposits less than $50.00 are nonrefundable. Deposits will be waived for certified Minority and Women Owned and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses. Pursuant to State Finance Law §139-j and §139-k, this solicitation includes and imposes certain restrictions on communications between the University and potential bidders during the procurement process. Failure to adhere to this provision may result in the disqualification under the NYS Procurement Lobbying Act.
