LEGAL NOTICE

Notice is hereby given to the residents of Modena Fire District that the Board of Fire Commissioners for said District at a regular meeting held on Monday February 16, 2026 that there exists a need for funds to be made available from the Truck Reserve Fund, as they established, the Board hereby seeks a permissive referendum to make available up to $70,000 for the purchase of a new Chief’s vehicle. These expenditures from Truck Reserve shall be subject to a public referendum, pursuant to Section 6-G of the General Municipal Law. Residents shall have 30 days from February 26 2026 to file a petition protesting against such resolution and requesting that it be submitted to qualified electors of the fire district affected for their approval or disapproval.
